How Does It Work?

Q: How often will you cook for me?

A: It's entirely up to you. Some clients eat my meals every night, others use it as a supplement to their own cooking or dining out. I have some clients I cook for every week, some that are twice a month, some once a month, and others only occasionally.

Q: Do you have to cook in my house?

A: Yes, health department regulations require that a personal chef prepare all food in the client's home or in a commercial kitchen.

Q: How long will you be at my house, and do I have to be there?

A: I will be in your home an average of 5 to 6 hours. Most of my clients are not home when I am there. They just provide me with a key and alarm code (if necessary). I value their trust and keep their information in the strictest confidence.

Q: What kinds of food do you cook?

A: I cater to the requests of my clients. I cook many ethnic cuisines, such as Italian, Thai, Mexican, and Indian, but I can also cook good, old-fashioned comfort food. You can view sample menus by clicking here.

Q: Is all the food frozen, and how does it taste after being in the freezer?

A: Most of the meals are stored in the freezer, but depending on the client's needs, some fresh serve or refrigerated only items may be on the menu. As for the taste, my clients are pleasantly surprised that the food tastes as fresh as if it was just prepared. Careful cooking and packaging techniques ensure that the quality and freshness of the food remains, even after freezing.

Q: How much room do you need in my refrigerator and freezer?

A: Generally, I need at least 1 shelf in your refrigerator and 2 shelves in your freezer.

Q: What areas do you serve?

A: I generally accept clients that live within a 40 minute drive from Northwest Orange County. This includes most of Orange and Seminole counties including Orlando, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, Winter Park, Maitland, Windermere. I also serve limited areas in Lake County, such as Mount Dora.

Q: Do you offer gift certificates?

A: Yes, I do. They make a great gift for many different occasions!
